Roman Catholic Diocese of Phú Cường
The diocese of Phú Cường ((ラテン語:Dioecesis Phycuongensis)) is a Roman Catholic diocese in southern Vietnam. Since 2012 the bishop of the diocese has been Joseph Nguyễn Tấn Tước.〔(Catholic Hierarchy Directory )〕 The diocese in its present form was founded on October 14, 1965. By 2004, the diocese of Phú Cường had about 113,238 believers (5.1% of the population), 101 priests and 64 parishes.〔(Catholic Hierarchy Directory )〕
The diocese covers an area of 10,855 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh city.
